
ABOUT ME
Emma Di Bernardo is a writer and inclusive educator from Queensland, Australia.
Emma Di Bernardo is an LGBTIQA+ and disability advocate.
She was listed in the 2021 Richell Prize for Emerging Writers Longlist.
Emma’s experience of chronic pelvic pain was featured in the 2021 Black Inc. anthology Growing Up Disabled in Australia.
Her non-fiction work has been featured in ABC Everyday, Disability in Kidlit and the One Woman Project.
Emma acknowledges the traditional custodians of country and their connections to land, sea and community. I pay my respect to elders past and present, and extend that respect to all First Nations peoples today.
